Saige is now 21 months old and well on her way to being a big kid! She is TALKING like crazy! She's beginning to form short sentences, sing songs, say please and thank you and she knows the names of virtually everything. Everyday we are flabbergasted by her knowledge. She can identify (just a few) letters and numbers and knows all her colors. Reading books is still her favorite way to spend time. Just a regular little brainiac, that one! Just a few days ago Terra and Saige were going through her alphabet flashcards. They came to the letter "T." and Saige says "Tail...Toys...Tica." She is seriously freaking us out.
All progress on potty training has stalled.... Saige is great at identifying in detail what she has done in her pants, but it's always after the fact. We're hoping that by this summer we'll have some good news to post about her potty training.
Size wise she's still a big girl. Her weight is just over 30 pounds, which puts her around the 85th percentile. Fortunately (or unfortunately?) she's a great eater - we're always amazed at the quanity of food she consumes. She'll eat anything but vegetables!
Right now we're waiting for her to get over her "Only Mommy" phase. If Mom's in the house, Saige doesn't want anything to do with Dad. Little stinker. But other than that, she's an absolute joy - always happy and smiling!
