A Day in the Life of Saige and Tica

8 Months Old!

And here we go again! Yet another month has snuck up on us! I know that each month we talk about how fun Saige has become but this month we really mean it! She is FUN! Always smiling, laughing, grabbing everything, making silly noises, playing games and vying for attention. Our girl is a goof ball!

One thing we've enjoyed is watching Saige learn to become the center of attention. She insists that everyone notice her! She'll smile and coo until (of course) whomever it is comes over and comments on "those eyes" and how cute she is.

Saige is so close to crawling! But in the meantime she's got her own method of travel down where she pivots on her belly then rolls where she wants to go. In a split second we'll find her halfway across the room, usually following after Tica (the dog).

We've counted 5 teeth but they're coming in so fast that there's probably more we've missed. Each week we introduce a new food and she gobbles it up! She's still sleeping great at night and her naps are improving.

Kauai Vacation

We spent a glorious week in Hawaii! Saige LOVED it - she was nonstop smiles the entire trip. Meeting new people, wiggling her toes in the sand, watching the chickens..... she was in heaven! And the plane ride was a breeze - after both legs of the flight we were told by several people just how good she was. Made us proud.
