Giggles!

It's the best sound in the world - Saige has started to giggle and laugh!

3 Months Old!

Today Saige is 3 months old!

She is growing so fast! And we mean GROWING! She is currently weighing in at 14 pounds, 12 ounces and is 25 inches long. This now puts her above the 95th percentile for height and weight.

Some milestones she's acheived in this past month:
- Grasping things - toys, blankets, fingers.... anything she can grab she will and put straight in her mouth.
- Fascination with her hands - Saige will clasp them together, stare at them, and of course put them in her mouth for hours of endless entertainment.
- Rolling over - Saige has actually been rolling from her belly to her back since she was 7 weeks old but we still feel it's worth mentioning.
- Cooing - Saige speaks her own language!
- Sitting up (almost) - with a bit of assistance Saige can "sit" up! Loves that Bumbo seat!
- Sleeping through the night! (Mom's personal favorite) - Although she's only slept once from 9:00 to 6:30, many nights she'll sleep for 6-7 hour stretches. Too bad we can't comment on how well she naps :(

Saige is such a blessing! She's a happy, content and all around good baby. We couldn't be happier!

Rub-a-Dub-Dub!

Forget Tummy Time!

So the doctor recomends putting Saige on her belly for tummy time every day.... only problem is that she won't stay on her tummy! She rolls over almost immediately! Pretty impressive for a 2 month old.

So much to celebrate!

This week Clif and Terra celebrated many things. It was their 3 year wedding anniversary and Saige turned 2 months old!

While at dinner for their anniversary Clif and Terra reflected on just how blessed they are. These last 3 years have been amazing, particularly now with the arrival of Saige into the family. So much love!

Another reason to celebrate is simply because Saige is doing so well. At her 2-month check-up appointment we confirmed what we already knew - Saige is healthy, BIG, and right on target developmentally. In fact, she's exceeding many of the milestones typical for her age. The pediatrician was very impressed at how alert and attentive she is. Saige is all smiles and very much a talker - she'll carry on loud and lengthy conversations in her own little language. And unlike many at her age Saige can also roll over from her belly to her back.

As for her size, Saige now weighs 14 pounds, 3 ounces and is 23.5 inches long. This means that in two months she's nearly doubled her weight by gaining 6 1/2 pounds and growing 4 inches. She's in the 95th percentile for height and weight! Amazing!

We have to also note that Saige just keeps getting cuter and cuter. Her eyelashes are long and dark, her eyes bluer than ever, and her smiles bigger and brighter. She's the most adorable baby in the world!
